Keep your page comfortable to read
Choose a grid of 8 to 18 letters per side. Shorter word lists leave more room for larger letters; if a list cannot fit at a readable size, the PDF maker will ask you to shorten it. PDF letters remain at least 16 points in large-print mode. Paper size affects the room available.
Larger type does not make a puzzle easier by itself. For a gentler search, select Easy and leave backwards and diagonal directions off. For more challenge, keep large print on and change the directions.
